Sunset sky and light: learn to build smooth transitions from the cool grey-blue sky to the blazing orange-gold horizon, conveying the sun's rays and the glowing edges of the clouds.
Water and reflections: master the painting of mirror-like water with warm sunset glints, pearly grey-lilac shadows near the shore and trembling tree reflections, along with small details such as water lilies.
A vivid foreground: practise painting grass and shoreline thickets with expressive, dynamic strokes, playing warm orange tones against cool greens.
